Bryna Blum

Author, grief coach, and community builder, Bryna creates a compassionate space for writing, reflection, and healing after loss within the Healing Circle.

Bryna's story

This work grows out of lived experience, deep compassion, and a desire to help others feel less alone in their grief.

Bryna knows how disorienting grief can be and how hard it can be to find words for what life feels like after someone you love is gone.

This space was created to offer comfort, honesty, and connection through writing, shared stories, and private community. It is a place for those who want to read, reflect, write, and take heart in the stories of others who have found a way forward.

Bryna’s life changed through loss, and with that loss came a journey she never expected to walk. Over time, writing became one of the ways she made sense of grief, honored love, and found her way forward.

What began as a deeply personal path has become a source of encouragement for others. Through her writing, coaching, and community building, Bryna offers a place where grief can be acknowledged honestly and healing can unfold gently, one small step at a time.

Bryna Blum, Author

Mourning Pages, a Widow's Journal of Healing Coming Summer 2026

In January 1997 Bryna's husband passed away after being ill off and on for many years. She thought she was ready, and that everything was in order. Quickly she learned how wrong she was.

In Mourning Pages, Bryna shares what she calls the good, the bad and the really ugly realities of being left with the two things she knew very little about...running a business and herself, without her husband.

Through her story and those of others, she shares the journeys one takes to heal, and how the written word contributes so much to the process.

In Mourning Pages you'll learn how healing writing long hand can be. You think, you write, you read what you wrote and then you think again. It's a cycle, one that Bryna continues to do even today. She believes writing is what one does, when one can't get the words out, or doesn't have someone trustworthy or caring to listen.
