In business one never gets a second chance to make a first impression. In life one may never get a second chance to say the right good bye.

I learned all this from a friend many years before I ever faced the death of a loved one. Her father died on the golf course doing what he loved best, besides his family of course. I couldn’t find the right words to say to her, until she said that she felt so good because, and I quote, “Nothing was left unsaid between us.”
