Had there been a website like this when I needed it, I wouldn’t have felt so alone; and, I would’ve learned others had the same fears and made similar, if not identical mistakes.
I also would’ve learned that it’s okay to celebrate the small victories one does one’s own, that they never even thought about when they still had their partner. Even small things seemed insurmountable at first. I had to learn patience. I thought everyone was watching.
I wish I knew then, what I know now. I would’ve asked for the gift of support.
